Job Description:

A Local Authority based in London is looking for a Service Accountancy Manager on a temporary basis to ensure the proper administration of the Local Authority's financial affairs, by delivering high quality financial services, as a critical contribution to the efficient, effective, and economic achievement of the Local Authority's vision.

The post holder will control and monitor the Local Authority's accounts and assist the Accountancy and Treasury Services Manager.

The Ideal Candidate:

• CCAB or CIMA qualification/finalist or part qualified with relevant experience


• Public sector finance experience specifically in budget work and accounts


• Experience of supporting managers and directors


• Experience of managing staff and ensuring training and work is done thoroughly
