Job Description:


A local authority based in London is looking to bring on a temporary Finance Officer (debt administrator) to the team to assist mainly with debt administration and credit control.

The duties of the role include liaising with supervisor and area teams to understand debts and accounts, creating statements and recording information on spreadsheets, raising invoices in PIMs system once trained for MFB related customers.


The role will also require the candidate to assist with daily banking and reporting of payments, to use pivot tables and other skills in manipulating debt reports or creating logs that can be used to trace debt progress, assist in creation or restarting of monthly debt chasing procedures and to run their administration and any other duties as required.



The Ideal Candidate:



  • Experienced in credit control or accounts receivable

  • Property or real estate experience desirable

  • Experience of local authority/government finance/credit

  • Flexible and open to development with a professional attitude
