Our client, a Local Authority based in Clevedon are recruiting for a Senior Building Surveyor to join their team.

This role is on an ongoing temporary contract.

The purpose of the role is to work under the direction of the Head of Property Assets and Projects to deliver a comprehensive building surveying service to the Council, covering all types of property, with a focus on effective maintenance to these properties.

To undertake the supervision and management of repair and renewal works to the corporate property of the Council.

To assist in undertaking condition surveys of a wide variety of non-residential property.

To assist in maintaining robust programmes for ensuring that property is compliant with statutory regulations.

To undertake audits and inspections of property for a broad range of purposes including energy management and disability access compliance.

Candidates will need:

Relevant qualification - HNC / Degree level.

Experience of building / maintenance surveying at a Senior level.
