A housing association based in Billericay, Essex are looking for a Disrepair Surveyor to join their team.

This is on a temporary ongoing contract.

The purpose of the role is to undertake all aspects of the professional surveying functions required in the provision of a professional Asset Management service in the Housing Association sector and to ensure that the Associations stock is maintained in the highest possible standard.

Deliver a range of surveying services, this will include but is not exclusive to; implementing, monitoring, inspecting, diagnosing repairs, disrepair cases and managing a range of projects and services of differing size and complexity.

Working with contractors and customers in the delivery of repairs works to the Association's stock, these include, but are not exclusive to, repairs, damp and mould cases, disrepair, complaints review in accordance with contractual requirements, key performance indicator targets and agreed programmes.

Actively use knowledge and experience of the housing stock to help inform the development of the Asset Management Strategy and repairs programmes.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following competencies/attributes;

Appropriate technical qualification (e.g.

HNC Building Studies) or equivalent through relevant training/experience.

Experience of working in building/maintenance surveying and Housing Association sector, candidates will need disrepair experience clearly detailed on CV when applying.
