Maintenance Manager

A Housing Association based in Cambridgeshire is looking for a Planned Maintenance Manager to join their team.

This is a full time, temporary ongoing agency role and the successful candidate will have a full relevant Construction/Property qualification, extensive experience with Planned external residential maintenance, experience with de-carbonisation works and ideally experience in a similar local authority or housing role.


The main purpose of the role is to undertake supervision of contractors on site who are delivering the planned investment works.

Oversee programs including de-carbonisation, so external walls, roofing and groundworks and to oversee the financial aspects of the projects.



The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following;


A recognised qualification in a property related discipline, degree level qualification or proven


experience of successfully delivering Planned Investment (or related discipline)


Substantial experience in the pre-planning and delivery of Planned Investment projects and


programmes with comprehensive job-related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent


level


Experience in contract management in a works delivery context


Experience of managing / delivering the legislation and regulation requirements applicable to the


delivery of programmes


Experience of managing and delivering spend including forecasting and mitigating risk


Experience in undertaking stock condition surveys, designs and specification and technical


Assessments



The main responsibilities associated with this role are as follows;


Undertake and Oversee Planned De-carbonisation projects including groundworks, external walls, roofing, cladding etc.


Provide detailed pre-planning and delivery of multiple projects and programmes (c£2m annually)


within agreed timescales and allocated budgets to ensure delivery of the Groups objectives


Assist with the development and planning of the 18 month detailed rolling planned investment


programmes including the delivery of stock conditions surveys


Delivers on-site inspections which provides assurance of the quality of service and product delivered


Manage and create project documentation to support successful project and programme delivery in


accordance with governance framework


Deliver projects and programmes using the Exceptional Client key stages and methodology



The client is looking to move quickly with appointing to this position and as such is offering £25 p/hr Umbrella Ltd (Approx.

£620 p/week NET after deductions).
