Nurse Home Manager

A private client of ours has a new permanent opportunity for a Nurse Home Manager to work within a Learning Disability residential hoe in Brighouse, West Yorkshire.

Permanent Salary: £35,000pa + plus £250 BONUS FOR APPLYING THROUGH OUR AGENCY!

Hours and length of contract:



  • PERMANENT POSITION

  • Full time- 37.5 hours per week

  • Service operates 24/7

  • The manager is looking for the position to be filled ASAP!



Daily Duties:


The client is a charity that supports vulnerable people across North England within a number of high quality CQC registered services with the aim of supporting people to live their best life.



As the Nurse Home Manager (RMN/RNLD) you will be working within a Supported Living Home for 7 Adults with Learning Disabilities and associated complex needs which can include Physical Disability and you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home and ensuring effective and efficient care to its residents.



Daily duties include but are not limited to:



  • Ensuring that all staff employed within your service are recruited, developed, supported and managed in an appropriate and professional manner

  • addressing the training and development needs of your staff

  • Responsible and accountable for the quality of the service provided

  • contributing to the development of budgets for your service and accountable for ensuring that it remains within agreed budgets

  • Establishing and maintaining effective links within your team(s), with other organisations, and agencies, or workers

  • Oversee and assist in every aspect of nursing care and activities within the home

  • Assessing student nurses and NVQ candidates and assessors where appropriate

  • Develop and updating care plans

  • Maintain clear, accurate medication records

  • Share your knowledge with other members of the team

Person specification:


The applicant must be a Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD), have recent management experience including an NVQ L4/5, and be DBS cleared.
