Job Specification : Plasterer

Location: Birmingham - Chapel house

Pay Rate: £18.10 an hour

Type : Temp to perm (for the right candidate)

Start: Immediate start

Working Hours: 36

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a plaster in Birmingham to join a maintenance services team working on a mixture of projects.

Including repairs and planned maintenance on domestic properties.

The plasterer operative will be expected to undertake a full range of plastering repairs, maintenance, and installation works.

Key responsibilities

• Remove and reboard ceiling using plasterboard sheets.


• Plaster (skim) ceilings.


• Artex ceiling's


• Float and set walls (carlite browning and finish) to leave a flat and smooth finish.


• Use of scaffolding and ladders.


• Make good small arears of damaged plasterwork to ceilings and walls.

You will need

• Full UK Driving License


• NVQ level 2 or city & guilds certificate in plastering


• Previous Experience of working in property maintenance
