Building Safety Contracts Manager

A housing association based in Stratford are looking for a Building Safety Contracts Manager to join their team.

This is on a permanent basis.

£52,000 - £56,000 plus benefits.


The main purpose of the role is to be responsible for delivering a number of projects from inception to completion, administration and application of building safety contracts.


You will be delivering large and complex capital investment schemes within the residential sector, of between £5-10m in value.


You will be managing projects encompassing the installation or remediation of external wall systems; managing building or fire safety retrofit schemes, to install new or upgrade existing, passive and active safety systems.


The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following competencies/attributes;


A professional qualification from either RICS; APM; CIOB; RIBA or other relevant body.

Those working towards full chartered status will be considered where they are able to demonstrate relevant experience or hold a fire safety related qualification at Level 3 or above.


An understanding of existing and forthcoming health, safety and fire safety legislation and regulatory standards, pertaining to residential buildings, and will know how to apply the requirements of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015 to building projects.
