Organisational Development  Provide specialist expertise and advice to the Executive Team and Senior Managers and Leaders across the Trust on all matters relating to organisational and people development.

Provide specific support to the Service Sustainability Board to ensure the delivery of quality and cost effective services for women, babies and their families.


 Provide the OD input into the development and implementation of the Trust's strategy and business plans, policies and decision-making to improve efficiency and effectiveness and to embed the Trusts values and associated behaviours.


 Co-ordinate OD interventions and activity across the Trust in partnership with the HR Business Partners to accelerate progress of embedding the CARE and Learn values whilst delivering quality and cost effective services for women, babies and their families.


 Design, develop and commission/implement appropriate team development programmes as part of the One Team, One Goal: Team Coaching programme to ensure teams deliver better services for patients


 Work in partnership with HR Business Partners to develop the capacity and capability of managers to undertake OD activities within their area of responsibility.

 Support the leadership and development of the People Champions programme as a key OD intervention to ensure that our people's voices are heard and acted upon in line with the CARE and Learn values.


 Ensure all OD interventions are evaluated effectively and learning from these evaluations shared through the relevant forum.


 Introduce a range of tools and methodologies which support OD and workforce development and complement service improvement; embedding good practice across the Trust.


 Ensure that leadership development opportunities have clearly defined learning outcomes that underpin organisation values and behaviours.


 Support the achievement of an organisational culture where staff feel valued, supported, involved, engaged and empowered with the aim of providing safe, high quality care and being recognised as an employer of choice in line with our organisational values Care, Ambition, Respect, Engage and Learn.


Implement the Leadership and Management Development Strategy in a manner which underpins the Trust's values and strategic direction, ensuring that development needs are identified and opportunities provided, which results in the required capabilities and capacity across the Trust and service transformation.


 Build the talent management programme underpinned by robust succession planning to cultivate and retain high performing leaders of the future.


 Develop an organisation wide performance coaching framework to maximize the effectiveness of those in managerial posts.


 Lead on the evaluation of leadership interventions to ensure these meet the needs and objectives of the Trust.

 Ensure that leadership development opportunities have clearly defined learning outcomes that underpin organisation values and behaviours.
