Offender Management Coordinator - Police

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Offender Management Coordinator to work on a full-time, long-term contract with a local Police Force in Fareham.


Job Purpose:


To provide support to the Area Offender Management Teams and the Offender Management Hub.

To maintain the Records Management System (RMS), the Violent and Sexual Offenders Register System (VISOR), the Offender Management Team MAPPA Nominal Spreadsheet.

To answer calls and emails directed to the Team, to manage the shared Team mailbox, to utilise PND and to provide general support to the Offender Management Team via the OM Hub.


Key Responsibilities:


1.

To provide administrative support to the OMT by inputting and editing data on VISOR, RMS and other databases.

(To include researching and inputting risk assessments using ARMS, Risk Matrix 2000 and adding warnings and flags, merging and linking records within RMS, compiling and circulating bulletin slides)


2.

To prepare and maintain nominal case files and profiles for OMT meetings obtaining data from several sources, checking accuracy and providing an accurate summary.


3.

To manage the MAPPA nominal case files.


4.

To deal with requests for information sharing with partner agencies.


5.

To input and extract data from Force and National intelligence systems including RMS, VISOR, PNC and PND, and MAPPA nominal spreadsheets (if required)


6.

To provide general administrative support to the Offender Management Teams and the OM Hub eg managing diaries, taking messages, answering phone calls, taking minutes of meetings and dealing with enquiries where possible.


7.

To manage the shared Team email mailbox, dealing with enquiries where possible.


8.

To arrange Level 2 and 3 Police-led MAPPA meetings inviting all relevant agencies and to attend these meetings to take accurate minutes that you will then disseminate in accordance with the Chair's direction.


9.

To maintain, update and edit the Offender Management Team MAPPA Nominal Spreadsheets enabling you to provide information on the necessity for home visits, interim & level 1 reviews and identify breaches in RSO registration compliance.

To use this database information to task Offender Managers via RMS to ensure necessary action is taken eg arrests for breaches.


10.

Liaise with other Areas/Forces/Agencies regarding the movements of MAPPA nominals.


11.

To give regular and effective service.
