Apprentice HR Administrator

Here at Service Care Solutions, we are looking for an Apprentice HR Administrator to work in our busy, vibrant Head Office, based in Preston city centre and close to all local amenities.

SCS are a privately owned Recruitment Agency formed in 2005 which specialises in eight different sectors, responsible for providing temporary and permanent staff to various organisations Nationwide.

The role of an Apprentice HR Administrator involves:

  • Transactional HR duties including maintaining records, drafting contracts & letters, tracking data, dealing with day-to-day queries

  • Manage the internal recruitment process, from advertising vacancies, booking interviews, offering candidates and the onboarding & induction process

  • Assist the HR team in other ad-hoc duties when required.

You will work closely with the HR team in order to learn the basics of the human resources function, ensuring we remain compliant with employment law and suggesting improvements to policies and processes along the way.

SCS offer an excellent structured 4-week training programme along with ongoing internal training through our academy, which will give you the necessary skills to begin your career within SCS.

  • Excellent administration skills

  • Ability to multi-task a variety of duties and projects

  • Knowledge of employment legislation and its practical application

  • Ability to work with discretion and remain confidential at all times
