Clinical Change Specialist Role

Are you looking for a specialist role in the NHS? Our Client in the NHS are looking for a Change Specialist with experience in Clinical and Non-Clinical fields.

Rate of Pay- £16-£19 PAYE per hour (Dependant on skills and experience)
Length of Contract- 6-9 Months
Hours: 37.5 Per week

Job description & Person Spec:

This is a specialist post within the clinical team of the health Information Management &Technology (IM&T) business

The IM&T health element of the business provides all IT related services for NHFT.

This role sits within the branch of the service whose prime focus is the identification of appropriate technologies, their deployment and ongoing management.

This includes deployment, management and support of the organisations electronic patient healthcare records.

The post holder is required to hold a current registration to practice with the NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council) or other appropriate professional body.

The primary focus of the role is upon the clinical benefit, safety and effectiveness of the technologies used by clinical services.

Their scope of practice relates to not only the “business as usual” maintenance of existing systems and enhancements to those systems but also to the testing and deployment of new solutions.

Knowledge amnd expereince: Essential

  • Current professional clinical qualification: The post holder is required to hold a current registration to practice with the NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council) or other appropriate professional body

  • Educated to a minimum of degree equivalent level, or equivalent experience or competencies.

    Evidence of recent and ongoing C.P.D / learning

  • Understanding of national NHS strategy and policy agendas.

  • Knowledge of the NHS IT agenda and the opportunities for improvement in patient care presented by it.

  • Experience in a number of clinical roles, including leadership of clinical teams

  • Experience/ understanding of facilitating and managing change

  • Confident in the use of technology

  • Proven team worker with ability to motivate others.

  • Proven track record of successful working with different staff groups.
