Service Care Solutions is seeking a temporary MOT Tester to join our client in Leeds.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting MOT tests on Class IV, V, and VII vehicles, ensuring adherence to quality control checks in line with Operator License undertakings for inspections and vehicle repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct full Vehicle Inspections and tests according to schedule, conditions, and construction and use regulations.


• Inspect a variety of vehicles, including Class IV, V, and VII vehicles


• Perform Pre and Post MOT test inspections on all vehicle types, recording findings accurately.


• Work in accordance with DVSA guidelines, including Operator License and guide to maintaining roadworthiness.


• Maintain electronic and manual records of tests and inspection reports as required.


• Demonstrate a high degree of manual dexterity.


• Stay updated with Motor Vehicle and Construction and Use Regulations.


• Possess a current nominated tester certificate and proficiency with MOT computerization.


• Keep abreast of DVSA tester Manual updates and communicate changes to the vehicle inspection team.


• Communicate effectively in both written and oral technical language.


• Work efficiently in a multicultural environment.

Requirements:

• Hold a Level 3 motor vehicle technician qualification.


• Possess Department of Transport nominated Tester Status.


• Hold a valid full UK Driving License.

Working hours are:
Monday to Thursday 7:15am - 3:45pm and Friday 7:15am-12:15pm
