This company is seeking a Social Work Assistant to join their team in Nottingham.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting social workers in providing support to Looked After Children (LAC).

The Social Work Assistant will work alongside social workers to help young people in care achieve their full potential.

This will involve carrying out assessments, creating care plans, and providing practical and emotional support to LAC and their families.

The role requires a compassionate and caring individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The Social Work Assistant will need to be able to work well under pressure and have a strong understanding of the challenges faced by LAC.

Rate

£14.24ph

• Assist social workers in providing support to Looked After Children


• Carry out assessments and create care plans


• Provide practical and emotional support to LAC and their families


• Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies


• Attend meetings and reviews as required

• Experience working with Looked After Children or vulnerable young people


• A relevant qualification in social care or a related field
