Service Operations Supervisor, industrial capital equipment required for a Test and Measurement capital equipment maintenance and servicing company in Germany, their office is in Darmstadt, and the role is 3 days office based with 2 days a week working from home.

The Darmstadt office services products used to test the mechanical properties and performance of materials, components and structures.

Customers include companies from all branches of industry and they require a Service Operations Supervisor to lead a team of Field Service Engineers.



You will
Have an Engineering or similar qualification, e.g.

technician or master craftsman's degree and several years of professional commercial experience.
Team leadership
Speak German and English
Be willing to travel within Germany



The role will be
Scheduling material testing systems field service technicians.
Management and maintenance of work equipment and spare parts stocks for service calls
Support for service technicians with questions about calibrations, maintenance and emergencies
Customer visits in the event of emergencies, bottlenecks and for the training and further education of service technicians
