Night Manager

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Night Manager to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Burscough, Ormskirk area.

As a Nurse you will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers

The nursing home is a superb refurbished building situated on a corner plot enjoying views over picturesque scenery, as well as providing more than ample car parking space.

The service is truly a home for life due to being dual registered home catering for service users with both residential and nursing needs

As the Night Manager your key responsibilities include:

·         You will be responsible for assisting the Registered Home Manager in managing and developing high quality services for all our residents and the management and development of the staff team particularly the night staff

·         To instil a culture of care and continuous improvement across the service

·         Ensure the promotion of high standards of care

·         Ensuring the home runs in accordance with CQC guidelines and that the team are managed appropriately and that the home is run in a smooth and efficient manner on night shifts

An ideal Night Manager must have these skills and experience as they are beneficial for this position:

·         Experience of working in a similar environment, you will be able to demonstrate a track record in leading, motivating, managing and developing staff

·         You will have a clear understanding of leadership responsibilities in elderly/social care with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·         Ensure all care plans, risk assessment, audit and other agreed outcome measures are an integral part of the residents care and that these are monitored and updated on a regular basis in accordance with regulatory requirements

·         Undertake regular audits to assess the quality of care given to the residents and present those findings at managers meetings

The successful Night Manager will receive an excellent salary of £17.50 per hour.
