Deputy Manager

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Manager to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Shipley, West Yorkshire area.

As the Deputy Manager you will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers

This nursing home is a home for young adults with disabilities.

It cares for people who have a variety of specialist needs including amputees, people with brain injuries Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Motor Neuron Disease, Huntington’s Disease, Epilepsy and many other complex conditions

As the Deputy Manager your key responsiblities include:

·         Responsible for all aspects of running the home in the absence of the Care Home Manager, accountable for the standard of care delivered within their home

·         Leading the clinical team on a shift by shift basis

·         Directing support staff to ensure the delivery of quality care

·         Working closely with the care & nursing team, relatives and other agencies to ensure person-centered care plans are in place that put the individual at the centre of all interactions, ensuring dignity and respect are maintained at all times

·         Carry out duties in accordance with NMC guidelines, leading the care & nursing team on shift and providing clinical leadership, practice development, feedback and reflection to Registered Nurses and Care Assistants as well as new and developing members of staff

An ideal Deputy Manager must have these skills and experience as they are benefits:

·         Must have a vast amount of experience in similar setting

·         Have a working knowledge of the regulatory framework relating to Care Homes

·         Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written

·         Demonstrate the ability to lead, support and motivate a dedicated care team

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £18.75 per hour and the annual salary for this position is £39,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 40 hours a week.
