Deputy Ward Manager - Rehab & Recovery

An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Ward Manager - Rehab & Recovery to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Stapleton, Bristol area.

As a Deputy Ward Manager you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This special hospital is one of the UK's leading centres for the treatment of individuals, families and couples facing a wide range of psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, stress, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

They also are able to provide a specialist addiction day care programme, which provides evidence based therapy for a range of substance and behavioural addictions

As a Deputy Ward Manager your key duties include:

·         Reporting to the Ward Manager, you will be involved in the assistance of managing the ward, staff rotas and engagement

·         Ensuring  the highest standards are maintained in personal care and meeting the psychological needs of a diverse group of service users with varying degrees of mental health issues such as dementia, Huntingdon's and Alzheimer's, affecting their mental and physical health

·         You will be caring and attentive with the skills to build strong and trusting relationships with people

·         To work unsupervised with a degree of autonomy and be able to motivate and guide your team, in a fast paced environment


An ideal Deputy Ward Manager must have these skills and experience as they are beneficial for this position:

·         Experience of working with rehabilitation and recovery patients

·         High levels of customer service

·         A strong sense of responsibility & ownership

·         Willingness to learn

·         Effective communication skills

·         Flexibility and strong “can do” attitude


The successful Deputy Ward Manager will receive an excellent salary of £30,754.50 per annum + enhancements.

This exciting position is a Full Time role, working 37.5 hours a week.
