Childrens Home Responsible Individual
We are currently recruiting for a Children's Home Responsible Individual.
This is for a Children's Residential Home for 3 young people, aged 10-18.
This is a full time, permanent role working 40 hours per week, 30 days holiday per annum with a negotiable salary depending on experience.
Main Purpose(s) of the job:
To become the Ofsted Responsible Individual for Bramley House, overseeing the delivery of services which are fully compliant with the legislative and regulatory requirements particularly The Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015 and other frameworks that govern practice.
Be responsible for monitoring and overseeing the day to day management, effective development and delivery of high-quality residential services to all Young People placed in our care and monitoring the manager is ensuring the individual identified needs are being met as per placement plan.
To direct, support and develop the manager in leading, managing and developing a cohesive staff team, ensuring that team members work effectively and in partnership with all Young People, families as appropriate and all internal and external agencies and professionals.
To carry out their statutory duties as determined, principally in relevant childcare legislation, Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015.
To ensure that all services are planned and delivered in a way that maximizes participation and reflects children's rights in relation to services being provided.

The post holder is responsible for ensuring that all child protection policies are adhered to and concerns are raised in accordance with these policies.
To be responsible for overseeing the day to day operation/management of an Ofsted regulated residential provision.
To ensure the highest standards of emotional, social, and physical care are always promoted, ensuring best practice outcomes for Young People through reflective practice, development and working in partnership.
To ensure strategic overview and vision of the organization are embedded in policies, procedures, and management strategies in collaboration with teams within the company.
To deliver highly motivated leadership, regular supervision sessions and development to the manager/team for which you are responsible.
, A DBS from within the last 12 months
, Experience in working in a Children Homes
, NVQ 5 qualification or equivalent
