We are seeking to recruit a high level innovative, flexible and responsive individual to provide first class executive support to the senior leadership team, ensuring that they can continue to operate effectively as leaders and ambassadors.

The post holder will be responsible for the diary management and coordination and detailed engagement planning from concept to detailed logistical arrangements for meetings and attendance to events for the Chair and Director and liaising with (the offices of) business leaders, Government Ministers, Council leaders and senior officers from LEPs and Local Authorities, ensuring a positive image of the organisation is portrayed and opportunities to promote and progress local priorities are maximised.

You will lead, co-ordinate and provide effective support for regular and other key high level meetings, including developing, negotiating and managing a forward plan, preparing and publishing board papers, ensuring outcomes and actions are communicated and implemented, recording concise action-oriented notes if appropriate, and the monitoring delivery of actions.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to take initiative, and effectively manage a diverse workload we are seeking to recruit an individual with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to providing attention to detail whilst coping under pressure and with tight deadlines with the experience of resolving sensitive and confidential issues with tact and diplomacy.

To be flexible and adaptable in order to meet the varying demands of the role, including being able to provide prioritisation on conflicting workloads and have the ability to react calmly and professionally under pressure to get the job done.

Applicants will need to demonstrate a high standard of skills in using Windows based software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint and hold a project management qualification (ideally Prince2)
