This is a fantastic opportunity to work locally in Bishop’s Stortford for a well-established company.

If you are a people’s person and have excellent telephone communication skills and love working in a team of likeminded people, then this could be the job for you!  

Requirements: Grade C GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English, computer literate and outgoing personality.

Main duties:

Your duties will involve offering our clients existing clients a complete customer care package.

You will deal mostly with incoming telephone enquiries covering a wide range of subjects in connection with our clients' insurance.

These may include discussions about outstanding paperwork or payments, processing changes customers may wish to make to their policies, cancellation requests, renewing policies and dealing with any general enquiries they may have.

Successful candidates will receive full training on our client’s range of products, how best to meet their customers' requirements and how to use the computer system.

Successful applicants must be customer focused and able to work in a high paced, versatile and dynamic team.

Previous customer service experience is not required, but a confident and friendly telephone manner and excellent communication skills are essential.

As a Customer Service Clerk, you will have the opportunity to earn a wide range of bonuses relating to performance-based targets.

Salary: Up to £18,000 (experience dependent) potential £26,250.

The role is telephone-based (both in and outbound calls) handling customers' car insurance queries.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 6 pm or 10am to 7pm, alternate Saturdays 9am to 2pm.
