Desktop Support Analyst

I am currently recruiting for a desktop analyst to work in London.

This is a temporary role initially for 6 months and does fall inside IR35.

Reporting to the Desktop Support Manager, the post holder will work with the Desktop Support team to upgrade the staff estate PCs from Windows 7 to Windows 10.

Main Tasks:

1.

Follow team procedures to replace staff Windows 7 PCs (both desktops and laptops) with Windows 10 devices.



2.

To ensure all required services are available for each staff member.

This includes applications, printers and other configurations.

3.

To engage with staff at all levels to arrange appointments and ascertain exact requirements.

4.

To rebuild machines with our standard staff Windows 10 image

5.

To troubleshoot issues arising from any upgrade.

6.

To keep clear and accurate documentation.

7.

Undertake any other tasks as requested by the Desktop Support Manager

Skills/ experience

 2 years minimum experience in an IT Support role.
 Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10.


 An understanding of remote administration and software distribution tools.


 Ability to work quickly and methodically.
 Exceptional customer service skills.
 Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
 Analytical and organised approach to work.
 Good problem management and problem solving skills.
 Good time and resource management skills

Working Hours

During the week: Monday - Friday 9:00 to 17:00
