Job Title: Commercial Assistant
Work and Interview Location: Oldham, OL9
Contract Type: Temp ongoing (potential perm for right candidate)
Weekly Hours: 39 Hours (Monday to Friday 8.30AM - 5.30PM)
Start Date: ASAP (Candidates must be available immediately)
Key Responsibilities -
, Support the managers within the region in the selection and appointment of approved subcontractors by ensuring that selection packs are prepared in conjunction with procurement procedures.
, Attend and capture accurate records of performance management reviews with sub-contractors on a cyclical basis and escalate contractual breaches.
, Gather and collate data to support the management of subcontractors, customers and colleagues in line with agreed standards and timescales.
, Provide customers and colleagues with prompt, professional and accurate information, delivered in a timely consistent and efficient manner.
, Ensure daily, weekly and monthly commercial processes are completed accurately.
, Assist in the production of payment applications and related financial controls to ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
, Proven experience in providing excellent customer service.
, Proven ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures
, and accurately record data and information.
, Experience of working with IT systems to produce analysis,
, reports and statistics.
, Experience in reviewing contractor performance and
, escalating issues.
, Good attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and
, manage a varied workload to meet agreed timescales.
, Good oral and written communications.
, Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
, Able to demonstrate good analytical skills
