Systems Support and Development Officer

Role: Systems Support & Development Officer
Location: Stevenage, SG1
Start date: ASAP start
End date: Ongoing contract

Our client are seeking an experienced Systems Support and Development Officer to work in their busy Estates department.

The key purpose of the role is to populate and manage the Estates module, Uniform within IDOX systems software used by the company and act as the 2superuser2 within the Estates Team.

You will be required to take individual responsibility for working within Estates and will require an understanding of business objectives and processes in this area.

You will also be required to have an understanding of how technology can be exploited to deliver business objectives.



Key Responsibilities
, Direct responsibility for ensuring that the Estates ICT systems are properly utilised and fully functional including ensuring that systems and business processes are properly aligned, recommending relevant changes to processes, developing training material and delivering end user training, resolving system problems ect.


, Responsible for leading a range of small to medium sized IT and information projects in Estates.


, Prepare project plans before implementing projects in line with corporate project management guidelines.




Essential Experience/Knowledge:
, Educated to degree level or equivalent significant experience of IT systems administration.


, Training qualification or equivalent experience in identifying staff training requirements and designing/delivering training programmes.


, Broad knowledge of estates and property portfolio management
, A detailed understanding of individual service functions/
, Detailed understanding of the functionality of property IT systems and the application of technology to deliver business benefits.
