Content Manager

I am currently recruiting for a Content Manager to work an initial 3 month contract in London.

The role of Intranet Development Manager (Financial Transparency Programme will be responsible for developing and implementing the client's Finance intranet (Global Finance Works).

The initial focus will be on designing and developing the intranet site to deliver an aligned Finance intranet with clear links to the client's Learning Management System.

The post holder will report into the Learning and Development Manager for the programme and will be responsible for design, implementation, transition and championing of the Finance intranet across the board.

Role Focus:

Delivery by the end of the programme a new Finance Corporate Intranet site with revised materials, content and improved usability.

The development will consist of a 4 stage approach:


Develop and launch an interim collaboration site to cover short term needs of the programme, and provide new resources for users.

Work with SMEs to cleanse and archive materials on current Finance intranet site to ensure they are up to date and user friendly.

Develop the Finance Corporate Intranet site provide a new and up to date, user friendly resource for the organization, which presents all the updated materials and content.


Act as Content Editor for all Finance content on our intranet.

My client are also in the process of upgrading their SharePoint platform from SP2007 to SharePoint Online as part of the Collaboration Programme through 2018 - the role would need to work with the Knowledge, Content and Collaboration team to ensure any site, or content developed is ready to be migrated to the new platform.

Candidates must have experience of Microsoft Share Point with a minimum of 2 years' experience scoping, designing and developing Collaboration and Intranet sites.
