Delegate & Sponsorship Sales Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outgoing, sales hungry professional with a background in delegate/sponsorship or event sales management, to join the brand new conference division at one of the top UK Events/ Exhibitions/ Advertising company in the UK.

What is expected of you


  • To meet and exceed sales targets
  • Management of the Delegate Sales Executive and temporary sales staff
  • Overseeing delegate sales and targets

    • Raising awareness and sell conference sponsorship & delegate attendance
    • Generate new and maintain exciting sales leads
    • Achieving sales targets and KPIs through cold calling, face to face meetings and targeted campaigns
    • Client management and relationship building with exciting and potential exhibitors and partners
    • Coordinating sponsorship, advertising and partnership requirements
    • Communication with the marketing and web teams on delegate, sponsorship requirements
    • Produce weekly sales reports
    • To manage, build and maintain the conference database
    • Administration;  to log all enquires and sales and to complete the relevant booking processes
    • Multitask, manage and coordinate targets and deadlines
    • Communicate well internally and with external partnerships



  • To monitor the industry, competitors, market developments and identify new growth areas
  • Networking at industry events as required
  • Attending conferences for setup, conference days and breakdown

Essential Skills & Experience


  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within sales of high-quality conferences, summits or similar events
  • Proficient user of all Microsoft applications, particularly Excel
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Strong management and leadership experience
  • A proven track record in exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent skills in communication
