C#, .Net Senior Developer - Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Opportunity for a senior .Net, C#, WCF, Silverlight developer to join an expanding team working on the development of leading edge solutions using the latest Microsoft technologies Silverlight, ASP.NET and Windows Azure.


We are looking for experienced C#, .Net developers with a range of skills including C#, ASP.NET, WCF and Silverlight/XAML.

We are looking for experienced C#, .Net developers with a range of skills including C#, ASP.NET, WCF and Silverlight/XAML.

Other similar .Net experience will be considered.

The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years development experience using ASP.Net and ideally WCF.

Silverlight.


The role will evolve quickly and the candidate will take on shared responsibility for the future technical innovation and direction of the company’s flagship product.


You will be jointly responsible for the implementation of the architected solution, providing technical input at all points within the software development lifecycle.


The candidate must have the following:
• Demonstrable experience in acting as technical as technical lead for small development team.


• Comprehensive understanding and experience of distributed programming with advanced C# programming skills.


• Experience of web service development including ASP.NET, WCF and Silverlight/XAML.


• Understanding/experience of Service Orientated Architecture (SOA).


• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (SQL, Triggers & Stored Procedures).


Desirable Technical skills
• Knowledge and experience of Windows Azure cloud applications.


• Knowledge and experience of VB.NET.


• Project life cycle (traditional and agile) experience and/or understanding.


• Knowledge of legacy technologies such as VB6, RDO, T-SQL.


• Experience of using Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel).
