As a Special Needs Support Assistant your duties will include the personal care of a number of students, therefore the ideal candidate should demonstrate compassion and patience.

Some students have special medical needs so qualifications such as moving and handling would be useful.
Do you have a Nursing/Respite Care Background?
An exceptional Special Needs Support Assistant is required at a lovely Special Needs School in the London Borough of Hammersmith.

The successful candidate will be an experienced individual with excellent social skills and a personable nature to assist in the classroom with severe/profound and multiple learning difficulties.



The school caters for children aged between 4-19 years with severe learning difficulties and complex medical conditions, severe communication disorders, bi-modal sensory impairment and challenging behaviours.

As a Special Needs Support Assistant your duties will include the personal care of a number of students, therefore the ideal candidate should demonstrate compassion and patience.

Some students have special medical needs so qualifications such as moving and handling would be useful but not essential.

Experience working with Special Needs is not essential but is looked on favourably.



This type of position is ideal for someone with a nursing/respite care background looking to move into education.

Requirements to work for Monarch Education are:
