Technical Author / Technical Writer / Maternity Co
Technical Author/Technical Writer required by our client to cover 9 months maternity leave
What you'll be doing
? Provide clear and effectively written user documentation, including online help and reference manuals, to agreed deadlines
? Identify the needs for documentation, analyse information and design content
? Support other technical writers as peer editor and proof-reader
? Manage documentation projects and libraries, switching focus between projects as required to manage priorities
? Contribute to the usability, consistency and effectiveness of user interfaces

? Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
? Self-motivation
Skills and Experience
? Experience in writing and information design
? Educated to degree level or equivalent
? Experience of online documentation tools including Adobe FrameMaker and Lotus Notes
Preference will be given to applicants with experience of working in the advertising industry
